Hi, I’m Emily. Lily of the Valley Wellness is my private practice specializing in supporting people on their reproductive journeys and during parenthood. I have over a decade of experience providing counseling to people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders and trauma at various levels of care. Through my own personal journey to parenthood, I discovered my passion for this work. I still can remember those desperate hours in the middle of the night, searching online for a story like mine. I felt alone. I was scared. I was yearning normalcy. I needed a place for emotional comfort and healing.
Fast forward to today (9+ years later).
I created Lily of the Valley Wellness with my own postpartum self in mind. Simply put, I want to provide to others the type of support I needed when I was in my family building years of life. It is my greatest hope that through the services offered at Lily of the Valley Wellness that:
Those who feel lost can find themselves again.
Those who feel alone can feel supported and discover community.
Those who have endured pain and trauma on their reproductive journey can find peace and healing.

Safety and connection are the cornerstones of any relationship, but especially the therapeutic relationship. Know that this therapeutic space welcomes people from all walks of life regardless of (and not limited to) who you love, how you choose to express yourself, what you believe in, the color of your skin, or where you were born and how you were raised. I believe in my clients’ abilities to make the choices that are best for their own lives and bodies. As a trauma informed counselor, I understand how people’s life experiences have shaped their perceptions of themselves, the world around them, and their ability to cope. It is my hope that you can find safety and connection in our time together to show up as your authentic self and experience true healing.
